A buyer has not paid for an item. They successfully won the bid on the item on Sunday but have not paid and have ignored my requests for payment. What should I do? Can I relist? How long do I have to wait? Won't e bay take their commission on it? Thanks
look in MORE ACTIONS > I have not been paid.
You do not relist until this sale is closed off and you have the fee REFUNDED. Once a case is opened the buyer has 4 days to pay then on day 5 close, the seller fee is recredited and non payer get an Unpaid strike.
Add Non payer to your blocked bidders list and set buyer preferences to block memberswith two or more unpaid strikes.
eBay have already taken their seller fee, it is charhged thew second an item sells and not when a buyer pays.
eBay allow 48 hours for payment most seller will allow a little longer.
As they are ignoring your messages, you can open an unpaid item case now, from the Resolution Centre link at foot of most pages.
Close the case on day 5, your seller fee is refunded, the buyer gets a non payment strike, they are only allowed one, and you can then relist if you wish.
Ebay have already taken their fees....
scroll down to bottom of page....resolution centre and open an unpaid item case...eBay gives the buyer another 4 whole days in which to pay...if no payment received, you close, buyer receives a strike on his account and you get your fees refunded.... ONLY then can you relist....
when you have a non payer you need to complete a non payment case to get your final value fees refunded and give them a non payment strike
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html
then add the non payers ID to your blocked list
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
then set you bidder requirements to block bidders with two or more non payment strikes in the last 12 months
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
cases can be opened 48 hours after the sale,
once the case is complete you can relist the item
You can start a claim for non payment, google is your friend.
