Buyer asks to cancel the order and then left negative feedback saying i cancelled without warning

I sold an auction on ebay and they asked to cancel the order. I thought okay sure enough, so i cancel it!

Next thing i know my seller score is down to 93% positive feedback and they left negative feedback saying i cancelled without warning! What should i do next?

Have you tried contacting the buyer, they may have intended leaving the feedback for a different seller?

You can report the buyer to ebay and request the feedback be removed as you should have some evidence that the buyer asked you to cancel the sale, an ebay message?

Go to Help & Contact and use the New Seller Help.

That buyer has a lot of feedback so should knowbetter. Did they pay? It may have been a trick to avoid an unpaid case, but you have message (I hope) which you can ask ebay to read. Buyer can't have it both ways.
