Buy it now

I thought I had added a buy it now price to my listing but a potential buyer has saiid there is no buy it now price on the listing. I have 2 questions. Can I retro add a buy it now price or can I accept a buy it now price from a buyer even though there is no buy it now listing.  If so how do I do this?

Your iem has a bid,once a bid is placed Buy It Now is no longer available and the listing continues as a standard auction
