do i register as a sole trader through hmrc ?

also do i need a unique tax code for this also ?

any links help and advice is very much apreciated i just need to know where to start lol to get my ass covered so im not committing any fraud .

We can't give you advice on your tax affairs. This is a matter for HMRC.

You should also make yourself aware of the Post Office regulations on the carriage of perfumes, after-shaves, nail varnish etc.

I presume that Avon permits its products to be sold on eBay, as there are numerous Avon brand items for sale here. Some sellers are even inviting buyers to sign up as Avon reps themselves. So you won't exactly be without competition!
