Auction Day Numbers

Hi,

Why can I not choose the number of days I want an item to list for?

From what I understand, I can only choose to list an item for 1,3,5,7 or 10 days. 

There are occasions when I would like to list for 8 or 9 days or maybe longer.

Sorry no answer here that can be given to appease you and the situation.

Those are eBay rules, and they have placed that range,  and that range only ,  for sellers to use for an auction style format.

I'm sure there must be a reason why they choose that range but thanks for your reply.

I'm sure there must be a reason too, but only Ebay will know what it is.  So you would have to ask Ebay. But not just yet, obviously,as they're totally swamped with more urgent issues, due to Covid staff shortages.
