Anybody had Hemp rejected because it is classed as CBD?

Hi

I tried listing Hemp Extract 50000mg but this was rejected with Ebay providing the following message: "It looks like there's a problem with this listing.

  • CBD products are not permitted on eBay. Please do not relist.{e71814-1081509x}"

Has anybody previously had a similar type of response to a listing like this?

Kind regards

GKW Golf

I am not surprised, you arealready selling illegally, don't you thinkit is time you rgistered as a Business Seller instead of defrauding Ebay of their fees and denying buyers their egal rights. Get Registered before you have problems with Trading Standards.

Anyone who makes, grows, refurbishes, or buys in (new or used) items to sell, is a business and must be registered as such. Not only an Ebay requirement but the law. Private accounts are ONLY for those selling off their old no-longer-wanted possessions from wardrobe and attic. That clearly isn't you. For confirmation, go to Ebay's Seller Centre (link at foot of any page). For full information, go to the government's website. And note that there is no such thing as a 'hobby seller' in this country, and how much or how little you sell or make is totally irrelevant.

I'd advise you to upgrade your account from private to business as a matter of urgency, before you find yourself in deep doodoo with Ebay and Trading Standards. Once Ebay suspends a selling account, that's it, for ever. And any accounts associated with you will be permanently suspended too.

You have had a answer from ebay and a warning not to relist.

As you are trading as a unregistered business I hope you realise the consequences.

Any of your buyers can return any of your items within 12 months for a refund, that is UK law.

You could face a fine from Trading Standards for illegal trading.

Unless you are submitting a self assessment form to the Inland Revenue you may be hit with a big tax bill.

You may be invalidating any home insurance you have for using your house as business premises.

And of course you need to be aware that you have drawn attention to your illegal trading to the thousands who visit these discussion boards everyday.

It doesn't take two minutes to correctly register your account and you will remove the risk of fines.

It won't help that you are trading illegally.

You must register as business seller.

Why would private selllers have these type of items.
