10% vouchers from selling

Hi all,

I have voucher codes for the 10% back after selling promotion but have been unable to use them. I have tried to buy 3 items (though one did have a 10% discount already so that didn't apply) and each time I have been told the code could not be used for that order. The seller accepts paypal and I am paying via paypal and there were no discounts etc on the other 2 items. I have no clue why it is not being accepted, if anyone has any thoughts on this it would be much appreciated.

I've used 5 of these vouchers and, other than only being able to use one voucher per purchase, they have worked. 

When you look at the item you want to buy it should say something like "buy this for xxx, see how" which means  it is valid for that item.

I believe there is a restriction that you must use the paypal account with the same email address as you use for the ebay account with the voucher offer when you pay.

I have usd a £6 voucher for a £7 item.

Thanks for the input on this, much appreciated. I still am not getting anywhere with them though. I have juist clicked a myriad of different items and none of them say anything like the buy this for xxx, see how...just the usual buy now or add to basket. I am logged in, both paypal and ebay email addresses are the same...I literally have no idea

Will it always say the here's how part on an item that applies? If so I think my only option is to get Ebay to call me and chat with them. If that's the case it seems there's some kind of mix up going on and I can tell Ebay that I am not getting that message on anything.

i had £1.05 (10%) from selling on my private account, the offer code was already there on the payment page, it could be used with any seller.

I don't know the full details of the offer you mention but from past experience i do know that when vouchers are offered the terms and conditions often state that they can only be used when you purchase items from specific sellers.You usually get a list of accepting sellers.

I have no idea if this applies in your case but you could view the terms and conditions attached to the offer to find out ?.

Thanks for the reply, here is what the T&C say for this promotion: As far as I know, all were met in the other 2 transactions. In fact have just bought something for just over £7 and it would not accept a £6.50 voucher code. It doesn't say if there is a specific minimum spend to be able to use a code.
