is ANYONE ELSE IN THIS SITUATION

sO SINCE THE START OF THE WEEK WHEN ALL THE NONSENCE STARTED

IVE BEEN GETTING 35P DEDUCTED FROM ALL MY NEW AUCTIONS AND RELISTED (auto) AUCTIONS

I dont know how to go forward

im awaiting comment from ebay but as time passes i feel this situation in just getting more complicated

so a a private seller (please do not comment on this IM am private and thats just how it is. Too many people getting on there hight horse about this and it taking over posts) IF YOU COMMENT ON THIS I WILL NOT BE PLEASED AS ITS ONLY INFO NOT WHAT THE POST IS ABOUT BE WARNED /.

so for every listing im being charged

my account funds are going down quick

a lot of my items are 4.99

at the moment with fees you really just give this stuff away as your making nother

so by know adding 35p every 7 days

Is it worth even listing

in my expericance it takes aleast 2x 7 days even to get a view

so IM I CORRECT

that it would now cost me is 70p 2 listiungs off before i get a view ?

4 listings cost 1.4

so after 4 listing i still have

i may sell at offer but full fees and at week 4 im  1.40 down and rising if i want to keep listing ?

Im i getting it right ?

other options pay for a shop

problem some months i dont list and dont sell anything

so ?

WHat to do ?

ive stopped listing new things and am tempted to start taking the auto relist off as its costing money i dont have

do i just let my listings run out

as a person of principal ill not be remaking any listings if i delete or ended

Please if you are going to respond please keep to topic BE NIce

Do i just leave my site running take off alll relists and just let it run out hopping for the odd SALE AS THINGS ARE ENDING FOR THE LAST TIME .

i NEED TO DECIDE TO CARRY ON OR STOP AS AT THE MOMENT IM JUST WASTING TIME WAITING FOR SOME RESOLUTION THATS NOT GOING TO EVER MATERIALISE

No one else has reported this on the boards to my knowledge but the reduction in free listings isn't due to start until the 1st October.

7 day auctions are free for private sellers. It looks like you have chosen 10 day auctions for some of your listings which incur fees.

I cannot find the pricing table for auction listings anymore but if you do a test listing and put 10 day auction and scroll to the bottom before you commit to list, you will see the fee.

I thought it was the shorter 1 or 3 day auctions which were charged.

I've just done a test run on the 10 day and it was going to charge me 18p, bearing in mind I have a featured shop, business seller rates and lots of auction listings left.

I'm frustrated that I can't find the price table. It should be easy to access for sellers.

I think it is free to list any length auction for a private seller, as long as you are within your 1000 allowance. I think it's just on offer days that certain length auctions aren't included.

@shave.india

Are you listing in 2 categories? If you are the second category carries a 35p charge.

Ah, I bet that is what it is.

I saw the private seller page but it didn't explain the auction fees. Such a long time ago since I did an auction as a private seller.

Sorry for the confusion everyone!

I kina see a but of a problem here

We all know what we know

But we are split into different types of seller

im Private some are business and some have shops too

so it looks like there are rules and charges that apply to each individually

the ideal person  too  Actually know would be someone thats worn all 3 hats

but thats even hard as things change with time

It looks like most of us are thinking things are the same for all sellers

Which it becoming obious NOT to be the case

EVERY DAys a school day
