Best way of taking photos for comics .

I am a seller and buyer of marvel and DC comics.

I can never get the picture of the comic right. If I do it takes me ages. I have looked at some videos but it's doesn't seem to help. Any advice out there from comic dellers

Am no expert but my advise would be to take photos outdoors in natural daylight but not direct sunlight, use a stand to place the comic on, use the macro function on your camera for close up shots.

If indoors don't use a white background and fix some lighting up that hangs above your item.

That's what works best for me. Not perfect but good enough for a novice.

Suggest that you look for an inexpensive Camera in an 'exchange' shop with Macro/Super Macro menu settings allowing  close up images of your Comics and small items of jewellery etc. ( have previously used an old Minolta X50 with top class results. )

PS. --- some listed currently on eBay.
