"Simple delivery" question, can I still get normal Royal Mail postage labels?

I send items I sell via Royal Mail as there is a business drop off parcel box at the end of my street.

I see people talking about having to go in to the sodding post office from now on as you only get a QR code, or worse yet being issued Hermes labels (which I will boycott for as long as I live as I took them to court and won a while back).

Is this true?

On the odd occasion when the parcel is too big for the parcel box I just enter the Royal Mail tracking number and request a next-day collection for free from RM.   This "simple postage" seems *bleep* to be honest. If the above is in fact true then I'll take down the listings on my personal account and have already ended a 12 year business account with feedback in the tens of thousands. I just continue to offer on other platforms and haven't  noticed any drop off in sales, eBay was already pretty dead in that respect having nosedived after the "buyer tax" was introduced which no longer made my prices competitive on this platform.

And another thing, if we are no longer purchasing from the delivery company directly, and instead paying eBay for postage, then it is eBay, not the seller, who is responsable for any loss, damage etc in transit.  This would be an easy win in any civil court case, and pretty easy to start via moneyclaimonline.
