Trying to use ebay to get rid of some items but stuck at the first hurdle as I cannot figure out how to set up the delivery cost bit. I want the buyer to opay for postage costs but the postage looks horrific, and I cannot figure out how to set them up, I am stuck on my very first item of a duvet cover set, and I don't know what fields I have to enter to get the listing posted?

From what I can see, having clicked on the View Listings option next to your star rating in this thread, the postage costs are displayed on the ad for the duvet cover (I've highlighted the postage costs in yellow on the screenshot) as well as your other listings so you've clearly done something right, whether you just fluked it or manage to work it out.  However, if you feel that the postage costs may end up putting off buyers then just tick the option to advertise your items with free postage, making sure that you include the postage and packing cost in the asking price, or in the starting price in the event that you decide to set a listing up in Auction format instead of using the Buy It Now format.

Your listings for the books might get removed as you have to be a business seller to sell toys for under age 3

The rule might not apply yet, not sure when it kicks in but be warned

Thank you so much, as you say, I managed it by some fluke, and then, 2 minutes later, I sold it on another platform, you can't make this stuff up, but I do appreciate your help, thank you

As a new seller you may not be aware of this policy yet given that there are several rules and regulations to familiarise yourself with when selling on eBay, but it's worth bearing in mind that one of eBay's rules forbids sellers to list items for sale on eBay that they have already advertised for sale on other websites.  This is to eliminate the risk of buyers from purchasing the item on eBay when it has already been sold elsewhere.

If you were to find yourself in the above situation you would have more than one person staking a claim to the same item, and if you sold the item to the off-eBay buyer and the person who bought the item from you via eBay buyer opened an Item Not Received case you could potentially end up with an account-damaging defect.  It doesn't take many selling defects to completely scupper a new seller's hopes of selling on eBay in the long term.

This isn't meant to come across as a telling off, and I hope it didn't come across that way as it certainly was not intended to, but I just wanted to make you aware of the matter so that you don't end up finding yourself in the scenario that I described in the second paragraph of this post.
