eBay's next move on business sellers - could it be our turn for ^simplified posting"?

If the buyer's fee & simplified postage is even remotely successful on private sellers do you think eBay will stop there? Will business sellers suffer the same fate? Those boffins at eBay are pretty stupid but fiendishly devilish & determined to run everybody's business (including their own!) into the ground.

eBay's chosen few couriers (at present only RM and Evri) couldn't possibly cope with the volume, if this was extended to business sellers, even with the opt-outs they would need to allow to keep their biggest sellers onside.

They wouldn't dare. I'm sure they already know it would cause a mass exodus of fee-paying businesses.

Ebay as a company is not daft. They realise that the world is much bigger than ebay alone and that they have to fit in with the established workflows of businesses globally.

Agreed - the minute they try to control businesses, they will be gone - there is nothing at all to be gained from even trying.  The world doesn't work like that.
