Yesterday I received 5 emails from Nectar saying that eBay had informed them that I no longer qualified for the "assigned amount" of nectar points. A total of 572 points between the 5.
I later received a further 5 emails from Nectar regarding approved point additions, all from eBay. These totalling 84.
I knew that eBay could/should reclaim any points for purchases that ended up as refunds, but I only have 1 recent purchase that was refunded, a value of around £10. So either they are going alot further back in my order history or they are using a different reason to reclaim the points.
Nectar don't specify.
The strange thing is that since the direct break of Nectar and eBay you have to use the Nectar app to get points and the only offers they have been giving recently are 2x or 4x.
Neither of which correlate with the 2 sets of emails I received.
My account is still active, I've bought some books recently, nowhere near as much as I was buying before though and I stopped all my listings since 3rd Feb before this rollout started.
Maybe my performance metrics no longer merit a reward.
Just saying in case Nectar points are important to any of you. If they are, keep an eye out and pay attention to the numbers Nectar/eBay are quoting you. Because it looks off.
