Why are international buyers being able to purchase?

Why are international buyers being able to purchase?

I had this problem back in March/April when I was still selling, when I listed as an auction and the item was won by a buyer outside of UK eg USA although I had GSP it was coming up for me to post direct - however items I had on Buy It Now when bought by buyer in USA it was going through the GSP as it always used to. I assumed it was a glitch and the way I went round the problem was to advise buyer I was cancelling order and relisting at the won price as a Buy It Now and for them to buy it and it would go through the GSP system ok. Did this on several auctions and buyers were fine with it and it worked using the BIN option. Hope this helps.

PS I stopped selling after over 20 years of selling/buying because of the hassle with Not so Simple delivery just for info.

well Canada is part of the GSP (well most of it is) not sure about why Puerto Rico as that isn't part of the GSP programme, but eBay will badge it under USA, but its not, its classed as a possesion and GSP does not go there.

Why are international buyers being able to purchase?

That's not what I mean. I am happy to ship using GSP. These are coming through asking me to ship directly to them using my own international postage.

Why are international buyers being able to purchase?

Well Puerto Rico you will have to ship direct as I said its not part of the GSP programme. Depending on location in Canada there may be a need to ship direct. Without the postcodes for Canada its impossible to tell, but locations such as the far north are not included.

The other issue with GSP is that its upto three times more expensive to use rather than going direct.

Why are international buyers being able to purchase?

Lol I just put the postage to £10. If he cancels fair enough, if not ill do it. Ridiculous how many glitches there are.
