When is the cut off for selling before the changes come into effect?

I’m selling off a few bits of mine, and won’t be selling after 4th feb, as not keen on the changes.

Just curious what happens if I make a sale say tomorrow on the 3rd - does it have to be posted the same day to avoid having the money held and fees for buyer?

The buyer "protection" fee will be added onto listings from the 4th Feb, not payments so you're OK.

Thanks. So  if I am to sell something before then, they won’t hold the money until delivered?

Sorry, missed that bit.   Yes, payments will be held from the 4th Feb.

From 4th Feb eBay will delay when private sellers receive payment until the postal tracking confirms that the item has been delivered.   Payments for items sent by untracked delivery will be given to seller after 14 days.
