I had an item on BIN for £18.99, someone offered me £16.00 which seemed reasonable so I accepted and they paid. I was surprised therefore to see that the £16.00 was £14.69 + £1.31 Buyer Protection Fee. With the postage the Order total was £19.75. Net proceeds are £18.44 which is £14.69 + £3.75 postage.
I assumed that I would get £16.00 + postage and the buyer protection fee was on top of that went to ebay but it looks like they have deducted it from me. If I am only getting £14.69 how is that "free to sell on ebay"?
Am I misunderstanding this?
