Hi I bought an item which was lost by Evri so a week after it should have been delivered and after Evri confirmed it was lost in their network I clicked item not received for a refund. EBay refunded and then the item arrived, I contacted the seller wanting to pay for the item then received an email from eBay saying that I had been refunded and if the item showed up I was to keep it. The buyer used simple delivery and has now contacted me with details for payment. I’m not sure how this works but from my understanding they get to keep my initial payment and eBay refund me so is the buyer trying to get paid twice for this item or am I wrong. Obviously I don’t want anyone to be out of pocket hence why I contacted to pay.
