Strange thing just happened I had lot listed at £45 it then sold for £22

Strange thing just happened I had lot listed at £45 buy it now // it then  came up as sold for £22 to  a guy in china . I just can not work out how it was listed at £45 then some one managed to but  it for £22 .. Less than 1/2 price . The guy paid i printed a label before i noticed the price discrepancy / I have canceled the sale supose i will get a negative . But i am at a loss to see how it could be bought for less than 1/2 the price i listed it at .

Do you have "automatically accept offers" ticked? Other than that can you check the payments section? Perhaps the item was promoted.

Was it the clockmaker's job lot?  Doesn't look like you received an offer for that item, unless you are using optional listing upgrades such as subtitles or reserves,  my bet is that you have ticked Promote items on some / all items,  and this could take a big chunk out of any payouts received.

See the breakdown of all your transactions here,  showing payouts received,  and any fees / ad fees  (promotions)  paid.

It sold as an accepted best offer so it must have been set to automatically accept them: Item Purchase History

Hi tickswift2, thanks for your post.

To add to the above, I agree and I'd say this is related to best offers being enabled for you item. However, if you want, you can confirm the item number, and I will be happy to double check that for you.

Thank you,

Marco
