I seriously thought about stopping selling.
However, for me, selling on Ebay is:
An activity I mainly enjoy;
A way of downsizing a large collection of costume jewellery before I go into a care home or die - at least one of those is inevitable;
A small additional income to boost my pension and pay for 'little extras'.
So, I am going to carry on.
Sales are slow, but that is not an issue.
I have to wait for payment - not so different than before as I always got paid weekly, normally after I had posted my items.
I will have to use Simple Delivery but fortunately I have an old printer from my pre-retirement days when it was a necessity and an old and inexpensive phone if I need to use the QR code. Many of my items are under £10 and under 100g so don't even qualify for SD.
Every seller will have to look at their own motivation. If Ebay is your 'hobby' then you can choose to adapt to the changes and even buy a cheap printer. Most hobbies involve some expenditure.
Or, you can stop selling on Ebay.
Nobody has to use the site.
