Hello,
I am a private seller and have listed my mobile phone for sale. I'd like to post out by Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm and its my understanding that RM will only insure mobile phones with this expensive postage and I don't think buyers mind paying but I can't add it on due to Simple Delivery. Last time I listed anything expensive, this wasn't around.
Can I opt out of Simple Delivery please ? I opted out of Evri for simple delivery already.
I presume that the Simple Delivery is a tracked delivery ? Is it an insured delivery up to £200+?
I am used to buying postage of the RM website and printing out my own label. I weigh and measure to make sure its accurate and I'm not sure I trust Simple Delivery.
With this and the buyer protection fee, no wonder sellers are moving to Vinted.
Thanks all

Simple Delivery is tracked and covers items for up to £750.

You can't opt out, it is set as default. Under where it says it, when you are listing, there is an advanced options link. Click this and it will allow you to choose/create your own postal policy/option.

Honestly? I've been petrified to list having read so many comments about Evri. No one has said it before, to my knowledge. Thank you ever so much, albeit you are replying to someone. I shall have a go tomorrow.

With Simple Delivery cover against loss or damage in transit is provided by eBay, rather than the carrier, for items up to £750.
