Another mini gripe.
Buyer places 2 bids, wins and pays for an item which is collection only.
Then after several requests to arrange collection has disappeared off the planet.
Looking at the rules the onus is on me to cancel the order and eBay then give the buyer a full refund.
Wouldnt it make sense for the purchaser to have to request a cancellation assuming they made an error in maybe not realising collection only and if not then after say 4 weeks the payment is not refunded.
My so called buyer can sit tight and ignore my polite requests knowing that he won’t lose a penny where as I have to wait and make the decision to cancel risking buyer claiming my fault and leaving bad feedback , all to my detriment in having to wait to relist and gaining nothing financially from the inability from someone to use dialogue to speed things up.
Help needed here ebay.
You can quickly vet emails to stop addresses and mobiles being given so why can’t the seller be helped when you have an email trail proving requests and no reply.
Once again the buyer holds the cards.
