Sales have died :( I was doing great but not now.

Anyone else struggling to make a sale?
I used to do great with lots of sales but I'm lucky to get anything now 😞 it's completely dead for me.
I've also noticed my items are not getting the views/watchers they used to so I think buyers are looking elsewhere.
Etsy on the other hand has really picked up even though my items are more expensive there due to 20% commission....I can't work it out lol.

It's likely the Buyer Protection Fee being added to your price putting buyers off.

There's ways around that for you.

Register correctly as a business seller, then your sales may return.

I wouldn't call it a business, more a hobby, I make around £3 an  hour after post and materials 🙂

Unfortunately, ebay would call it a business account requirement

Do I need a business account?

If you plan to sell casually, such as selling items you no longer want, a private account is the best option.

If you want to sell large quantities, if you have items that you've made or bought to resell or if you already have a business outside of eBay, you’ll need to register a business account.

Maybe.  A correct registration won't harm the sales although I wonder if buyers give a hoot about the status of a selling account: they just want what they want for the littlest price possible.

A correct registration would actually allow them to price somewhat cheaper on the postage front.

oh and be all legal and above board.
