'Prove 'Has their been a change in 2 step verification

I use 2 step verification on my accounts, so get a text each time I log in

Normally the txt message appears as from 'Ebay'

Today its from 'Prove'

Cyber crime is getting very sophisticated so just double checking

I've had this a couple of times - no idea what it is - like you, I was very wary.

Didn't do anything with the "Prove" text - I just asked for another code and that showed as from eBay.

Not seen this apart from prove you're a human. The 2fa on ebay gets healthy carried away though. I leave the screen for 5 mins and i need to login again.

I also got my verification text sent by Prove today, since I’ve never seen this before I decided to use email verification instead, the email was from Ebay. I’m hoping someone will be able to confirm that Prove is legit text from EBay.
