Promote Listing

Have ebay changed the rules on listing??

As I've just got stung twice for Promoted Listing Fees even though I not select Promote Listing on two of my expensive listings - I have to assume that Ebay have done this automatically, as my other lower value items have not had Promoted Listing enabled.

I found on another thread that you can check if your auction has been promoted and I did manage to turn it off before my second sale, but I still got charged anyway.

There appears no way to ensure that it is turned off by default when staring a listing.

So how do I ensure that I will not be charged on future ebay acutions as I never want to use promoted listings??

I feel like I've been scammed for over £500 for somthing I never selected/asked for 😞

Promote Listing

As a follow up to this it looks like an ‘Ad Compaign’ was started on my account. I do not know how and I do not know how two of my auctions were selected.

There is an option to end the Ad Campaign, which I have now done. I was under Seller Hub, Advertising.

I hope this stops others from being stung??
