As per this BBC News article:
"Postal services, including Royal Mail and Germany's DHL, said they would suspend deliveries until they had proper systems in place to deal with the new rules.
Royal Mail said it was withdrawing its current US export services for businesses from Tuesday, but added it hoped to have a new system up and running within two days to allow it to comply with the new rules before they kick in."

Whoever you use now the item is unlikely to arrive before the new rules kick in on Friday (29th). Anything sent by post will need to have the tariff/duty paid upfront which is what Royal Mail are putting into place. I believe anything sent by courier can be DDP/DAP so your buyer will likely be charged whatever tariff applies to the country of origin upon import.

Trumps tariffs.
Royal Mail plus a number of European postal authorities have stopped accepting items for the USA at the moment.
Anything arriving in the USA after the tariffs are imposed will be hit no matter the sales or sending date.
Royal Mail may launch US Postal Delivered Duties Paid on Thursday.
