New reduced Dispatch time limit

Why has ebay reduced the dispatch time limit to 3 days? 

I do normally manage to dispatch within 3 days, but sometimes I am not able to, so would prefer to go back to 4 days dispatch to give me some leeway and not be subjected to complaints.

I am a private seller, not a business, so ebay selling is not my main focus day to day.

Those are now the new rules.

Ours is not to reason why, ours is to do or ........ ?  🤔  Presumably receive late delivery defects!

The app and the desktop site allow different dispatch times, have you tried using a desktop for a longer one?

Yes, so I sold an item on Saturday and paid around 4pm. I must post by Monday 11.59pm! In the order details it's states "Dispatch by 2 Jul at 11.59pm BST". Today is the 28th June, Saturday. Monday is the 30th. Wednesday is the 2nd. So under order details I get 3 working days. Click, Get Pre Paid Label and then "Your prepaid label is tracked and covered by eBay Post by Mon 30 Jun."!!!

I'm using Firefox browser.

There are too many links within eBay's sales and purchase dialogues that alter users chosen options to eBay's defaults  advantage. I'll wait until Sunday to purchase post to see if I'm given an extra day, still one day less than I opted for or displayed in order details.Clicked on Saturday 28th June

That was from Cut Paste bold font broken but hidden. Not really my fault.
