Ok, so, an item listed in Media > Music > Records with LP in the title, pictures of a record, the words LP and record mentioned at least half a dozen times in the description and item specifics...

What does the buyer do....?

OMFG.png

Beggars belief....and yes, I have asked Ebay to remove it

Priceless, and I thought people couldn't get any dumber

@mr.record.man

I sell old ads for movies music etc.

I had a pretty cool advert for a 1950s film, listed in film/tv > ads/flyers.

Item specifics had material as paper, had measurements, details of discolouration etc.

Images were quite clearly an old poster.

Buyer thought it was a DVD …

You must be the only true optimist left then!  One thing i have discovered with my  10 years with e bay is that some of the people who come on this site should not even be allowed out of the front door on their own.    I have truly never understood why they do not read the description panels, i prefer life to be simple and by reading them and the posting details it can save so much time and effort for both the buyer and seller.  Of course it may simply be they cannot read (not sure what the excuse is for the pictures being ignored though.

Shame to be negged for it.

Selling in the dollshouse category I have over the years sold items and people thought they were buying the real thing even though it was in dollshouse category…

Did some one really think they were getting a plasma tv for £5 with £2 postage. Did someone really think a miniature tiny  plastic food mixer  was a kenwood. Or a tiny rug was a 10ft hall runner….

People can get a LOT dumber!

Back in the day I owned a Pet Shop. It was clearly a pet shop, it had pet products in the window, and a large display of pet goods outside . We have been asked for.........(and all these are genuine!)........

A Newspaper.

A bottle of Milk.

Roller Blinds.

Greetings Cards.

Stamps.

Jelly Babies (I kid you not!).

And a man who came in every week to ask if we had any Cars for sale!

Oh, nearly forgot about the man who kept coming in to tell us that he could buy our stock cheaper in Spain!

It`s a crazy world out there!

Sticking my head above the parapet as a buyer... This month has been the worst in my buying history for being sent the incorrect items from business sellers. The latest mentioned 5 times & showed in the photo X with X (a 2 part item, one package) in the listing,  what I received was only one of the X (item), so it's not just sellers being driven crazy. I have never received so many incorrect items in years of buying as I have this month. To make matters worse the seller also stated we have no more stock, despite 2 more separate (X with X) live listings.
