Having a problem on adding 'Item Disclosures' on my listings for the new EU regulations.
Main problem I have is what to put in the 'EU Responsible Person' section.
We make our own products and send from the UK to the EU via the ebays Global Shipping Programme - we have been doing this for at least 15 years with no problem.
We now need to add details of an 'EU Responsible Person' from the four options below - someone based in the EU - WTHF!
- Manufacturer, if based in the EU
- Authorised representative of the manufacturer in the EU
- Importer in the EU, if the manufacturer is not based in the EU
- A fulfilment service provider in the EU, for the products it handles, if there is no EU-based manufacturer, authorised representative or importer
The Advisor from Dublin said If we do not do this - all our listings will become invisible throughout the EU.
Does anyone have any work arounds on this as whose going to jump through these hoops?
