Global shipping to the usa

Morning all what has happened to the global shipping program from UK to USA had a buyer unable to complete a transaction the other week now another interested buyer states that there is no global shipping option for his location in the USA despite it being active from my end in the UK and upon checking the USA is in fact missing from the available posts to drop down menu so possibly another sale lost I would have thought that ebay will be affected as well in this and considering the exaggerated costs they sometimes charge for international postage would be an incentive to rectify the situation.

Shipping to USA was suspended a few weeks ago, discussion thread about it below:

The latest that eBay have said on the matter is:

Select GSP listings have begun to appear for US buyers, allowing some UK sellers to start seeing sales to the US.   We will continue to work on ensuring that GSP service coverage is maximised, as customs requirements evolve.   Until then if you are not yet seeing GSP coverage for your item and wish to list items for US buyers you can specify a shipping service to the US.

Thanks for your reply all a bit vague though I only ship internationally through global shipping for safety reasons so I guess I'll just have to wait.
