Ebay took few pennies from the money my item sold price.

I just got the money from my sold item. It was sold for £119.22 plus postage but the money I received was £118.79

I don't know where that money went.

If my item was sold for £119.22 plus postage. Ebay get the postage cost and I should have received £119.22 instead I received £118.79

Anyone can explain it to me?

Ebay took few pennies from the money my item sold price.

If you click on the item sold that is listed under orders, what does the breakdown of charges show?

Ebay took few pennies from the money my item sold price.

It may be a promotional ad fee or an optional listing upgrade for example items listed for 3 days incur a 35p listing fee, charged the second the item goes live and payable sale or no sale.

This will show you the breakdown of your transaction and any listing / promotional fees charged.

Thank you for telling me the links to see the transaction details.

It was international fee because the delivery address was in another country.

I forgot to say that the international transaction fees wasn't few pennies. It was over £5 and what looks like that ebay didn't calculate the fees correctly because they needed to take few pennies from my sold price.

I think that is a problem. That is not right.

I thought you were only down 43p?

International Fee is 3% (well, it is for me anyway). [2.5% and then 20% VAT on top]

Yes, only down 43p. The international was over £5. That money ebay took it from I don't know where and because it didn't have enough money, it took 43p from my sold net price.

Obviously I can't see your transactions and I don't really understand what has happened from what you are saying. It sounds most like it has taken the international fee minus 43p from another sale and then the remaining 43p from the item itself.

If that sounds wrong, fair enough - as I say I couldn't tell without looking at everything.

You could always ask customer services ...

If you had a balance remaining in your eBay account then they may have used that first to cover the international fee.

Note the international fee is 3% of the total amount paid by the buyer to eBay, so includes the Buyer Protection Fee, postage, and any taxes.  A bit unfair maybe but that's the way eBay calculates it.
