Does ebay Realise It's Made A Mistake ?

Just noticed the Featured Posts on the SC, Forum Posts page.

"Seller Meet-Up in Wales"  Looks like 3 people in someone's living room.

"Seller Meet-Up in the Chamberlain Room, Birmingham".  A bit more ambitious with a couple of dozen chairs.

But it doesn't look like they're expecting a great turn-out.

Perhaps another track for the "Ebay advertising campaign theme" thread :  It's my party (and I'll cry if I want to).

That's fair enough and it has likely skewed the stats a bit, but I doubt it's by all that much.

In my niche, I don't know anybody who doesn't use the app. The functionality may be lacking places, but for looking up prices or checking your own stock, it's more than usable.

I also don't  want to be one of those robots that walk everywhere  with a mobile phone in front of their face.

I know this well. I have recently got new glasses. I can see the world better but not really the phone screen. Its still too small. Throw in hands that don’t work properly then it’s pretty much not worth bothering with. In fact, due to the touch screen and my *bleep*py hands, I don’t even use my mobile properly. I always have it on silent. I keep it for medical appointment reminder texts and for the pharmacy to tell me my prescription is ready. Everyone else gets my house phone number because it has proper buttons 😅 even the dentist will say ‘I’ll text you your next appointment details’ and I tell them ‘you won’t, you will be sending it via email’ 😂 people get the choice of house phone and/or email address.
