Cannot list my item - location error

I have my listing ready to go, but everytime I go to list, it returns the error 'Item Location'.

The item location is clearly listed, and even if I click to follow the error link, it takes me to the very point where it is shown! I've tried changing it slightly, with '[name of my town] and adding 'UK' on the end, but still no dice.

Sorry for the late reply ,  I have just seen this question is unanswered.

eBay messages do not always correctly explain, or address the issue. 

You have returned to selling after a very long break.  Completing a listing may be prevented because you have not fully registered with eBay's Managed Payments?

Thanks @tressygirl  but I think it was because my postcode was not complete.

Ebay state that it will be shown on the listing, which would be a security risk if they were to show the full postcode.

However, this isn't actually true, and once I added the second half of my postcode the item listed without any errors.

So...

1) Ebay should make it clear that your full address will NOT be shown on the listing, and...

2) When a 'location error' pops-up, they should be be crystal clear about what the specific error is.

Would it be so difficult to put "Please enter a full postcode. Only your town will appear publicly" ???
