Are we being blackmailed into using Evri?

It seems to be the case where if you choose both Evri and Royal Mail, the postage prices are the same. If you don't want to use Evri, you have to pay more for Royal Mail. It seems we are being blackmailed into using Evri otherwise you'll pay more if you don't.

I wouldn't use Evri to deliver anything, I've just made 2 purchases, my first with apparent 'Simple Delivery', delivered by Evri and both received damaged beyond repair after being thrown at the doorstep.

Why would eBay choose Evri - probably a brown envelope in there somewhere.

If you opt out of Royal Mail then the price increases aswell so you aren't only being penalised for not using Evri.

Have a video of our local Evri delivery fella on the ring doorbell. He just walks up to the glass recycle bin, takes a photo, drops the parcel from waist height into the empty bin and walks off. Doesnt even bother to ring the bell or tap on the door.

That sounds like mine only he uses the paper and card bin 🙄
