I don't need or want AI to think for me and assume it knows what I need to input on seller description. Simple delivery is another one of my EBay pet hates. I am wasting time correcting the info that is automatically added. At least I've learnt about Advance postage, as a way around the later. Note to EBay, in my opinion the old system worked better that the new.

And the answer is:
AI can certainly be controversial. Some people find it incredibly useful, helping with tasks like organizing schedules, generating creative ideas, or even solving complex problems. Others see it as intrusive or disruptive, especially when it replaces human roles or makes mistakes.
It really depends on how AI is used and whether it serves people in a way they find valuable.'
It's your choice. You don't have to use it. A lot of buyers do not like a block text of flowery AI and would prefer to read the sellers description of an item ( with measurements!).
SD, well that's another subject and plenty of threads and points of view about it.

Ignore the AI button on description; it's complete tosh.
All it does is take some of the words out of the title and string them out with a load of over-blown selling terms and descriptions that make no sense whatsoever. It give no useful info or any particulars the potential buyer may actually *want* to know.
I believe using AI for the description may genuinely put off more buyers than it gains.
The florid, unreadable rubbish is anathama, and it make the seller who used it look like a lazy so-and-so who'll be just as lazy with the sale process.
(you can tell I'm not a fan...😂)
And as for 'Simple' Delivery; try reading some of the (huge amount of) threads on the subject!
