Fixed budget keywords

I've been advertising for a while using exact keywords with fixed budgets.

I'm also using multiple Ad groups.

 

However, twice now in the last couple of weeks, I have had those fixed bids amended to the defaults on two individual ad groups.  At the same time it has added in generic keywords, with broad, phrase and exact!
I know for a fact that I have not changed these at all.

 

It's extremely annoying, as both times it's run my budget right up to the limit.

 

Has anyone experienced something similar?  Or do you know of any reason why this kind of thing would happen?
