You are a business seller, if you had a business account, which you need to trade legally, you can choose your own postage.

Items under £20 are eligible for Custom Postage for Private Sellers. To do this enter 'Large Letter' as the Simple Delivery size and the CP tile will activate. Click it and now you may enter any size/weight/courier that you like. For instance items under 25mm and 100g fit into Royal Mail Large Letter 2nd Class for £1.55 - this is an untracked service with £20 insurance.

No, you can be a sole trader. Which is what you are already anyway. You just upgrade the account you already have.

As you've already registered with a personal account,to upgrade to a business account, here's how:
Probably best to use a PC / laptop for this, and not the app or mobile browser. Chrome seems to work best on eBay.
