I have collected an order but am still receiving collection reminders from eBay: How can I stop these, please, does anyone know?

Hi there,
Those automatic collection reminders are triggered by the scan when you collect your Click & Collect parcel. The system keeps reminding you until it receives confirmation from the collection point that the parcel has been collected. Sometimes there’s a delay between the store scanning the barcode and eBay registering it, so the reminders continue for a day or two.
If your QR/barcode was scanned when you collected the item, you don’t need to do anything – the reminders should stop automatically within 24‑48 hours. You can also go to **My eBay → Purchase History** and, if available, mark the item as **Collected** to flag it as complete.
If the emails or texts still keep coming after a couple of days, it’s harmless to ignore them. Alternatively you can contact eBay customer support via the Help & Contact page and ask them to close the Click & Collect order manually. Unfortunately there isn’t a user-controlled setting to turn them off.

Click and collect...I think the fault lies wth the shop which (I guess) didn't scan the package before giving it to me.

Yes, thank you, I'm sure the fault is with the (C&C) shop's not scanning the package....they've done this before too! (They are the nearest to me so most convenient for collection.)

These notification would stop as soon as you collect them item, I am guessing that the item probably wasn't marked as collected, and that's why you're still getting those notifications. If you confirm the item number, I'd be happy to take a look for you to see if we can get that sorted.
