Two Simple Delivery Questions

I am having problems with Simple Delivery. Can anyone assist here?:

 

1. I have been waiting over two weeks for a simple delivery refund after submitting the relevant refund form. Is this normal?

 

2. I sold an item today (not free delivery). I have not been provided with a QR code for the label, but the app does let me create one. Is this right?

Two Simple Delivery Questions

As the Seller, a Simple Delivery label refund has several steps. Please make sure you requested within 14-days, opened your unused SD label to mark item dispatched, and added new Tracking Number there. If you missed any of these you will not receive a refund.

 

For your sale, it sounds to me like you were using Custom Postage, received the P&P money from the Buyer, and had the option to either purchase your courier service directly or buy a QR code from eBay. If this was not the case, then send Item Number for further assistance.

Just to add to the above, if you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling, and then your label should be refunded if it is eligible. However, If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used within 40 days

 

Regarding your second question, it sounds like it wasn't sold with Simple Delivery, but if you confirm the item number, I'd be happy to double check for you.
