It's gone from a really good helpful facility to an anonymous dead end in a week!

When selecting "print a label" I used to get a page of Couriers with their prices, and the ability to enter weight and dimensions of the parcel and be able to choose the correct class for posting. Importantly I could see how much I was paying.

Now it just tells me the Courier I'm sending with and offers to print the label with no mention of price I'm paying or the ability to enter any information at all. This is a very worrying backward step, and I'll be going back to dealing with Couriers directly from now on if they keep this awful system.

You are using eBay Simple Delivery,the buyer selects and pays for the postage label from those offered by eBay you only get the link to the label and cannot make any alterations.

You can opt out of simple delivery when you are making your listings and use your own couriers

Yes I did some in-depth research on it and the new Simple option is where ebay charge the buyer and pay the shipping leaving the seller out of the loop. 

Quite a good idea really, however the weight categories go from 2kg to 15kg with nothing inbetween, so if you have a small 3kg item the buyer is quoted a larger shipping cost than before which could be off putting on lower cost items.

The seller can in this case choose the advanced option which is as before.
