Global Shipping

I sold an item to someone in Estonia.

It came up with a uk address to send it to, so she sent me her address to send it to as we didn’t know why it had done this.

I then posted the item direct to her with tracking.

However, I have now realised that I should have sent it the uk global shipping centre and payment will be on hold until it is received by them.

How do I solve this??

You should contact ebay to explain what happened and update the tracking. Otherwise you will never get your money paid to you. Ebay follows the tracking on their system so if you failed sending it via GSP it will keep showing as unsent. Ebay rep should be able to update the tracking for you.

Your payment being on hold is only one problem.  Your buyer has paid for ebay's global shipping and needs that to be refunded. Also they could get hit by import fees which they have already paid to ebay for the GSP shipment. So they need that refunded too.

You really need to cancel the sale and sell it again to the buyer with them paying you for the international postage.  This would require you to trust them of course as they could just  not repay.  But they could claim INR anyway as things stand.
