The new delivery system is really broken and causing a lot of issues, for me anyway.
Today I had to cancel the 4th order in 3 weeks, because ebays simple delivery gives me the wrong label and theres no way of voiding or printing another. I have been on phone to ebay twice about this now and advice both times was to cancel order and pursuade buyer to buy again. Not one of them has rebought and i dont blame them. Its insanity that ebay cant change the label.
I have opted out of royal mail in my delivery settings. If this worked, it would be awesome, id have no issues, as royal mail are the root of all my problems. Yet despite opting out, my postage labels STILL keep printing as royal mail! And theres no way to check what the label will be before printing it! And also no way to void it or redo it once its done. What the hell kind of system is this?
Royal Mail will not accept ebays dimensions. For example, ebay defaults to a large letter for DVD box sets etc! It is obviously not going to fit in a letter! This is not an issue with Evri, because for Evri, anything from a small letter up to a medium parcel is a flat rate.
Now I know that some will say "you should enter the delivery dimensions etc yourself", or "you need to do custom postage". Yes, I agree. And thats what I will do. But...
Simple delivery is soon becoming mandatory.
Simple delivery is advertised as the "simple" option when it isnt.
If ebay are going to offer and recomend their own service, and advise you to use it, they should make sure it works. And ok, if theres some teething pains at first, thats fine, lets work through them. But they dont, they just advise you to cancel order? Ive lost a hundred quid now cus of this.
I shouldnt have to cancel entire orders just because of the wrong label. That is madness. I feel like im going mental. Am I the only one having issues? I nearly put my head through my car window when I seen that they f'ed it up again today.
