Hi. Well, I find myself writing a review abput the issues for sellers on ebay.
I've been with eBay for 19 years now and I've never had any real issues, until now.
The payment schedule that eBay have implemented is an absolute joke.
I sell loads of high valve products and eBay deem it acceptable to keep my money for 14 day even when I've had feedback left and have issued a tracking number to prove delivery.
I have called them many times now since they implemented these crazy and inadequate policies on payments.
A buyer can have their item delivered and using it and yet the finds are being held by super eBay. Yet you call them to prove everything and they just fob you off with the fact that these are the new policies.
Answer me this, if I was to buy food from a supermarket then would they allow me to pay in 14 days time. NO. But here we are eBay being a rule to themselves.
EBay increase all prices on everyone's products sold on their site, which will put buyers off as its a so called payment protection. Buyers are protected anyways as eBay hold all sellers fees until them deemed fit to be released.
I think eBay hold the money to gain interest on everyone's money. Think of it this way, 1 million pound being held in ebays account for 14 days is a good amount of free interest on our money..
Time to leave this site as they are for buyers and not the sellers anymore. To be honest I wouldn't even buy On ebay due to their increased pricing via payment protection..
Ebay has lost the plot, I wonder if the incompetent idiot that implemented these rules still works there. It will.cost them a loss in members across their site.

I am getting rather bored saying this, but as you are clearly running a business selling Koi Carp and accessories, why not just correctly register and then all the latest eBay stuff will magically go away.

If you had a business account you wouldn't need to worry about it, buyer protection fee is only valid for private sellers and there are no holds in place for funds for business accounts. It may be something for you to consider?

So ebay CS are actively encouraging business sellers to break consumer law and deprive ebay itself of business fees.
