Ok people hopefully someone can help. I posted an item on the 19th Jan and the tracking is stilll showing as at the parcel shop where I dropped it. So yesterday I called eBay to be told I would get paid on 25th even though the item wasn’t delivered. They even said it’s more than likely lost in the post so I was told this morning I would get paid today and still nothing. I can’t buy something off eBay and pay in 7 days or longer so why should I wait 7 days plus for my money.. I have this message on the order details clearly stating I would get paid on 25th or 2 days after delivery… what’s the best way to approach this..  thanks

When tracking doesn't update payments are usually held for 14 days.    Or new sellers have payments held for 30 days.

Just as well I’m not hungry and need the money. So basically on the 13th day if seller opens case then I will have to wait longer for the case to be settled. I did use simple delivery.

You can suggest to the buyer that they open a not received case now.  With Simple Delivery ebay refunds for loss or damage in transit and the seller keeps the payment.  Although as I said, the money may be held anyway for 30 days.

   If the buyer has not contacted you, I would definitely not reach out to them. I have it all the time, where I receive feedback for an item the tracking is not showing as delivered. Sometimes it is slow to update, sometimes it just never updates, even when it has been delivered.
