Payment issue

I’ve just had the exact same issue. All the previous items I’ve sold, I was paid straight after they’d been delivered or collected. However the last item was delivered and  +ve feedback left by the buyer, but no payment made by eBay. I looked at the payment details and they still indicated that the item needed posting! I complained to eBay and was told that they changed their payment terms last August and that I wouldn’t be paid for this item for a week after it was delivered. No reason given why, just that it was their new policy. Ridiculous.

Your payment may be on hold for a while because you are a new seller.

Anything in the link below that could explain your issue?

Sometimes it takes Ebays tracking a few days to catch up and update

Payment issue

Hi harbri74, thanks for your post.

I was checking for your there, and I can see you are a new seller. When you are a new seller, transaction holds may apply to your transaction, so this would be normal at the beginning. Once you start building more selling history, you will be able to qualify for faster payouts, for this you'd need to complete 10 orders with no problem, sell more than £150.00 and have 2 or fewer cases (item not received and/or returns)

Hope this helps,

Marco
