Hi guys ,
I started selling panini soccer sticker items 10 years ago on ebay, and I believe it is so great to share this experience, please
leave me your valued feedback and recommendations:
1. don't start selling on ebay with very rare items, as your history will not be so attractive. till at least you earn 30~50 points.
I listed so great items back then, but didn't make good , till I got 50 points.
2. don't be dummy in responding to special e-mail offers.
3.if you sell as buy it now, check for the fair price on ebay before you price your item.
4.if you think about building a good inventory, try to spend at least 30~40 % of your return of sold item.
5.always look for massive bargain on ebay to rebuild your inventory. nowadays these bargain are mostly the buy it now items,,
few years ago you would grab some great bargain by bidding,, which is not easy to find these days, due to high start price.
6.focus on w.cup and euro items, also English football, oh Greek are so profitable too!!
7.champions league old edition are too good, watch out for recent sets as panini printed tons of them, I think they will take some
good time to get rare!!!
8. don't be greedy in such rare items when it comes to start price, simply they will pick their price by duration going to the end.
9. AND it is never " to early to buy items in rebuilding your inventory" if you don't buy them somebody will do so!!
thanks in advance for your valued feedback,,please,,
regards,
Steve

Hi Steve you have made many good points there pal 🙂
My hope is that over-saturation of recent editions will inturn help the older ones become more valuable. To be honest i dont know enough about the Greek editions however im sure there is a good enough market for them. As you said Steve you really cant go wrong with collecting W/C and Euro's as i think these would prove to be the best investment for a decent return.
During the World Cup is definetely the best time for a seller and to make a good return on Panini items you want to sell on.
Really good post Steve cheers!

Thanks Alec,
any way, I always think on working on ebay as a full timer, but if you at least can not make $4000 a month it won't be worth it!!
and believe it or not although I'm american, but I'm not good in the american sports collections, while I'm the guy of match of the day
generation, still love to hear" ONE NIL" of David Coleman!!
and as you know location matters a lot as it is easier to rebuild inventory if you live in europe than in usa!!
yes always focus on greek collections !! have a great market!! while german are good for the 80's one only!!-So far!!
good luck any way!!

Steve are there many Panini football sticker collectors in the USA? Whenever ive went onto the American Ebay site there is a dominance with Baseball, American Football and Basketball
Ebay and their ever-increasing fee's and rules put me off ever becoming a full-time seller on the site 😞

ok Alec..
most of items on ebay.com are for Baseball, American Football and Basketball, and it is kind of boring to find soccer
stickers on that site, due to the huge number of other sports stickers -over 400,000- lists, even for single cards!!
but every blue moon you can get a super bargain! that you can't find on other ebay sites!!
an other negative point on ebay.com is that some sellers overprice the items, simply because the don't know the fair
value of the items, like euro 2008 set listed for $80.00 !! too much !!
by the way, what do you think about the single listing, I'm talking about a loose single w.cup 2010 or euro 2012 !! and having
the seller lists over 800 as singles !! don't you feel that makes looking for items too boring!! I know ebay loves that!LOL!
