zero feedback bids a scam???

I posted an item on 21 June receiving 14 bids from five bidders - two joined ebay same day - from France, Italy and Austria all zero feedback so far. Highest bidder has messaged to ask for auction to end for an instant "buy it now". Is this a scam??  And if so, how does the scam work?? My inclination is to cancel the auction for the first time since I joined in 2005. Any thoughts gratefully received.

That is very unusual bidding - as you say, every bidder has zero feedback.

If you wish to, you can end the auction now and sell to the highest bidder and see what happens.

Or, you could cancel the auction (there may be a cost?) and relist the item to sell in the UK only.

Many thanks for the reply - appreciate it.

The bidding is all “off” so I may well cancel the whole thing and start again. Highest bidder is in contact again looking for a reply that I will give.
