simple delivery

Well so far so good ,I have no complaints about simple delivery ,Because I don't have a smart phone or printer ,most of my stuff goes via Evri and fair do's to them deliveries have been very quick and no issues royal mail are a few days slower but still I have no complaints  ,I have sent plenty of fragile items and non have been harmed ,probably because I make sure things are very well protected when wrapped and I was advised by a post man not to put fragile on parcels as it is like a red rag to a bull .It is  shocking that some people think that by sending something either for royal mail or evri etc it will be treated like a new born baby being handled and that they can just put something in a grey mailing sack and it will survive the rigours of a journey unscathed .

I was even in a queue in a postoffice  one morning and the lady infront of me asked the lady behind the counter  if she paid extra would the Glass tumblers be handled better, they were 6 whisky tumblers in a thin box in a grey mailing sack  .

I use packaging stuff from shops that put out waste carboard ,polythene etc for the street collections on the side of the road each week  ,I pop in the shop and ask too and they have all said yes help your self ,and people give me odd looks as to why I am carrying bags of discarded polythene away from shops ,but that polythene makes great padding around a fragile item when the polythene is scrunched up it is better than bubble wrap too and the cardboard boxes or sheets are perfect  too. Clothing shops are a perfect place and super markets  ,it doesn't cost me anything and I am recycling their recycling.Just spending that little bit more time and care when packing items makes for a good buyers experience ,it isn't up to couriers to know that the item you have posted needs careful handling all they do is take items from one place and they get delivered somewhere else if it hasn't been packed well then it isn't their fault .
