returned item

i have recentley sold a T-shirt on ebay` i used good photos and description,

but the buyer is unhappy saying shirt smells and has stains on,

i dont agree with what he says but said return shirt and i will refund, even though i have no

returns marked` problem is it looks like i am the one who has to pay return postage`

is this fair` he is the one that is not happy with purchase` should he not have to cover return postage.

If the buyer has opened a return stating that the item is not as described, then you do have to supply a label.

If it was inexpensive, then you can refund without getting the item back.

Re: returned item

That is how it works. After return and refund then you can report buyer if you feel they have abused the system, but doubt any action would be taken.

The system is loaded in favour of the buyer, you should slso realise that NO RETURNS only spplies to change of mind returns, when if accepted the buyer pays return postage.

It is a sensible idea to have a proper returns policy, then buyer would not have to make up reasons for return. You would also be likely to receive back in good condition, rather than damaged to justify a Not As Described return.
