Hi Ebayers ,
bought two items by mistake from USA from same seller . I returned them within the return period but they were in one package as they went to the same shop . Received refund for one item but not the other .
Messaged seller and got no reply for refund on the other item . Not replying to my emails
Any one has procedural advice or guidance ?? The returned item is worth 104£ so this is quite serious .
Think I should go straight to bank and cancel original purchase on my card??
I am loosing trust in Ebay .

You won't be able to cancel the original purchases via your bank as you paid for the items willingly and received them.
You don't say if you returned the items through an Ebay case.
Ebay would need you to have tracking confirming delivery for both items so you needed to open a separate case for each item and then return the items separately.
All I can advise is that you communicate with the seller again.

Presumably your case details only reference the item number of the cheaper item?
Ebay can't help with the other one as there is no evidence you also sent that one back, or that it was received. Unfortunately your word is not evidence.

Your tracking only showed delivery of one item, so therefore seller only needs refund for one and the fact that he chose the cheapest shows he knows there is nothing you can do.
Two items if returning requires two cases, too late to do anything now.

It's not possible for 2 different tracking numbers to be scanned if only one parcel was sent.
The items should have been sent separately. Then each tracking number is scanned.
You will not be able to prove one was not received , if that second tracking number was not scanned, and as above, this was not possible.

Simple answer to both is no. As said, there is no third party evidence that the other item was actually returned. You should have sent two parcels back.

As advised, each tracking number needed to be marked as sent and received.
Because you put both items in the same parcel, only one tracking number was scanned and only one item is recorded as being delivered.
Of course this is not moral behaviour by the seller but you have no route to get your money back through the Ebay Money Back Guarantee.
All you can do is contact Ebay Customers Services and explain what has happened.
They cannot make the seller refund you.
Potentially, Ebay might refund you, or they will tell you there is nothing they can do.

Traders who do not act in good faith and are dishonest should be barred from the site . This is really dishonest ...complete silence from the seller . This is fraud .
Both items were received as they were in the one package within another box with a tracking number .
Unfortunately, you don't have any evidence of fraudulent behaviour.
My intention is not to be harsh or 'judgy', but hopefully you have learned some valuable lessons.
Think before you buy. For many people, I admit including me, it is unfathomable that anybody could purchase two items 'by mistake' from the USA.
If you have multiple returns, you do have to send each item individually. If there is a case and a tracking number for an item, you have to use each and every tracking number, even if that means the expense of sending more than one parcel.
