refund after returning using a stamp

Hi, The item bought was cheap and not good quality so I sent it back but as I don't have a printer I returned it using a stamp. I told the seller that I was going to do that and they said OK. I have a receipt from the P.O.

I've contacted seller to ask for the refund but they're not responding. They're ignoring me. The order number is 02-14059-88572

Ebay require you to return using tracked postage in order to assist with a refund.

You will have to keep on at the seller.

You should have opened a case for item not as described,  if the item was beyond an acceptable quality, and the seller,  if they wanted their item back,  would have had to pay for the return postage.

As you worked this outside an eBay case,  paying for your own postage without tracking,  you have no proof for the return,  and are now relying on the seller's honesty to refund,  which does not look promising if they are not responding.

No one can put their hand up and say they never made a mistake on eBay, whether it be buying or listing items for sale,  we've all been there, and it's a learning curve for all !

Thankfully your bad experience was with a cheap item,  others are not so lucky !

Thankyou! Yes it was a cheap item and have learned what I did wrong.

Just got a message from seller who said they will initiate the refund.

It might just end well.

Excellent news! 

Thankfully , there are more honest,  good people around,  than bad ,dishonest ones,  otherwise where would we all be,  and I'm not just referring to eBay !  🤔
